In 2025, we proudly celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Amsterdam Leukodystrophy Center and mark the retirement from clinical tasks of our founder, Marjo van der Knaap, after 40 years of groundbreaking research contributions. To commemorate these milestones, we are organizing a symposium on May 22-23, 2025, focusing on the latest advancements in leukodystrophy research, including novel insights into disease concepts, pathomechanisms, and treatment approaches. Additionally, on the afternoon of May 21, we will host a specialized course on leukodystrophies.
